Some Background:
Global Development Studies is a course at Concordia International School Shanghai designed to help students learn about the pressing global issues of our time, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and principles of sustainability and sustainable development. We are aiming to learn about ways in which we, as individuals and as groups, can make changes that positively impact our planet. We know that, unless we change our habits and begin to live in sustainable ways, there will be increasing and disastrous effects on our climate, our ecosystems, our neighbours (particularly in the developing world) and our future(s).
